Comedian and former ‘Tonight Show’ host Jay Leno injured in garage fire

According to a report by TMZ, one of the cars in Jay Leno’s garage suddenly caught fire. Mr. Leno is said to have suffered serious burns on one side of his face.

The comedian was immediately rushed to the burn centre in Los Angeles, California, but is reportedly doing fine.

While his status is unknown, sources say he will be back on his feet in a few weeks after treatment.

Mr. Leno was scheduled to attend an event in Las Vegas on 13 November, which now stands cancelled.

Jay Leno has a huge collection of cars and is famed for his know-how, even runnin a YouTube channel set in his garage and showcases his prized models quite often.

Leno’s collection consists of a range of models, from the latest supercars to vintage and rare classics. Leno also is the owner of a few unique steam-powered cars from the early 20th century.
